Life and Dying: a Particular Account

"Almost a year ago, I gave birth to my first child. Life and Dying is a tableau of my feelings toward my son and my experience of becoming a mother; it is an exploration of the calling of dying to oneself in order to give life to someone else."

The Future is Female concert took place on May 7, 2017, and featured 10 up-and-coming female composers, all working in Film, TV, and Video Games. Each composer presented an original work performed by the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra run by Mark Robertson and Noah Gladstone.
